MSA Membership Application
Paying the checkoff does not make you a member of the Michigan Soybean Association.
YOU Can Make A Difference!
Joining the Michigan Soybean Association (MSA) is one of the best things you can do to help ensure soybean profitability and preserve farming for generations to come.
MSA members are represented in Lansing and Washington D.C.
When you join the Michigan Soybean Association, you also become a member of the American Soybean Association (ASA). With one check, you join both organizations — and you make the voice of soybean farmers even stronger.
MSA and ASA are working for the soybean farmers at the state, national, and international level on political issues affecting all soybean farmers. By law, the soybean checkoff cannot do the legislative and lobbying type of work that some soybean issues require. That’s what these associations are for.
MSA and ASA work for soybean farmers on issues such as soy biodiesel legislation, promotion of biobased products, work on legislation affecting energy, transportation and infrastructure, aquaculture legislation, creation of the new Farm Bill, legislation related to trade and exports, and regulation of management practices related to water quality.
